Our Team

The firm’s director, Mr Warrick de Wet, obtained BProc and LLB degrees from the University of Natal in 1993 and 1994 respectively and took up articles of clerkship immediately thereafter. In 1997 he was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa and later obtained right of appearance in the High Court. In 2010 he became a member of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa. Warrick de Wet began his career running murder, rape and robbery trials in the criminal courts and processing Road Accident Fund claims.

In 2000 he ventured into commercial practise, both litigation and drafting contracts. The litigation work formed the background for his drafting work

and he started producing contracts for clients that were specificallycrafted around their exposure to litigation, with the intention of avoiding similar litigation in the future.

Mr Warrick de Wet now runs a substantial commercial drafting operation and specialises in the negotiation and drafting of commercial transactions.

Ms Riona Pillay (LLB; LLM) (Attorney); Mr Conor Redman (BSS; LLB) (Attorney), and Mrs Catherine Schmuhl (Snr Paralegal Diploma) (Office Manager) together with administrative staff constitute the balance of the team of hard working and competent professionals.
