This involves the negotiation and drafting of contracts for the general spectrum of business transactions.
The style of drafting is practical and easy to read.
It is important to the firm that its clients can understand and apply the terms of their contract without necessarily having to take further legal advice.
The approach in drafting is to “road map” transactions so that future disputes can be avoided or otherwise resolved without need for reliance on the
co-operation of another party or having to refer the dispute to court or arbitration. Typically these contracts canvass the sale of businesses, sale of shares in companies, shareholders’ agreements, BBBEE shareholding structures, company incorporation documents, joint ventures, partnerships, associations, trusts, franchises, distribution agreements, financing agreements, standard terms and conditions of trade, leases, public event management and sponsorships.

Loopholes existing in the trading process are identified and closed.
The record of the business conducted between the client and its customer is enhanced so that each phase has the appropriate document,
correctly worded and consistent with the other documents in the cycle, and legally compliant.
